Who is the workshop for

 

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and provides a great foundation required for future professional practice. It is ideal for those who would like to be able to use reflexology on their family and friends and those with a particular interest in considering a career in the holistic complementary industry. Please note all applicants must be over 18 years.

 

Being a reflexologist is a fascinating, creative and rewarding role and can offer you the freedom to work from your home, being a mobile therapist, practising in a complementary clinic, NHS hospitals or hospices. There are many exciting opportunities which is why there has never been a better time to learn more about reflexology.

 
What does the workshop involve?

 

It is an interactive and practical course, delivered by a specialist teacher with over 37 years professional experience.Tracey will guide and support you through this amazing one day hands-on workshop, providing lots of time for you to practise on others, gain confidence and meet new like-minded people.

 

Workshop content

● History of reflexology (pre-workshop reading)

● Benefits of reflexology

● Exploring the reflexology foot chart and reading the feet and hands

● Practical reflexology routine for stress and gut health 

● Client care, hygiene and aftercare advice

● Self-care relaxation techniques

What are the assessment methods

 

This will be a fascinating and interactive workshop with no formal assessment.

 

What are the workshop attendance and requirements

You just need to bring along 2 x hand towels, blanket, bed pillow, pen and paper. Your nails will need to be short and filed and a consultation medical form will be sent to you prior to starting the course. Please bring your own packed lunch and water. All learning materials will be provided and full joining instructions and some light reading will be sent in advance of the start date.
